Angelina Jolie, a Funeral Director?
Angelina Jolie, Hollywood’s highest paid actress for 2011, is a funeral director?
Not in this lifetime, but according to the actress, that was her second option if she wasn’t an actress.
In her interview with 60 Minutes, Jolie stated that, “It sounds like this very strange, eccentric, dark thing to do but in fact I lost my grandfather and was very upset with his funeral.”

“How somebody passes and how family deals with this passing and what death is should be addressed in a different way. If this whole acting thing didn't work out that was going to be my path.”
Jolie explained how she was actually working towards an undertaker’s degree.
In 2008 Jolie stated, “When I was younger, I went to a funeral, and I didn't think it was enough of a celebration of the life of the person. I thought I could do better.”
“I wanted to study, so I got a home course when I was about 14. I did a mail-order degree.”
When the actress was 12, she collected daggers and revealed that when she was depressed that she would often cut herself.
When addressing darker times in her life she stated, “I went through heavy, darker times and I survived them. I didn’t die young, so I am very lucky. There are other artists and people that didn’t survive certain things ... People can imagine that I did the most dangerous, and I did the worse and admit for many reasons, I shouldn’t be here.”
Now the actress is trying to be another kind of director - a film director. Her first feature film called “In the Land of Blood and Honey” is a Bosnian war/love story, which will be released on Dec. 23.
