Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Don't Want Their Kids to be Actors
Actress and mother Angelina Jolie said in a recent interview that she and fellow actor, and partner, Brad Pitt do not want their children to follow in their footsteps and be in the entertainment industry. However, daughter Vivienne makes an appearance in Jolie's new movie, "Maleficent," and their other children have had cameos, which Jolie said is perfectly fine.
"We think it's fun for our kids to have cameos and join us on set, but not to be actors," Jolie told Entertainment Weekly. "That's not our goal, for Brad and I, at all. But the other three and four-year-old [performers] would not come near me [during 'Maleficent']. It had to be a child that liked me and wasn't afraid of my horns and my eyes and my claws, so it had to be Viv."
Vivienne did not exactly take to the role, though, and Jolie explained that it took a bit of prodding for her to do what was needed as the young Princess Aurora. It actually took the entire family to try and coax Vivienne, 5, into her performance.

"The first day was the day she had to catch a butterfly, and she just really didn't feel like doing it," Jolie told ABC.
"I was actually holding the pole with the ball on the end and bouncing up and down and dancing, trying to make her laugh, and daddy was on the edge of the cliff she had to jump off, making faces and all her brothers and sisters were egging her on. She eventually did it but she was taking her sweet time and not wanting to do it twice."
The family recently made their appearance at the Los Angeles premiere of "Maleficent," but Vivienne stayed home and missed out on all the excitement, including her father getting hit in the face by a "fan."
"Maleficent" is now playing in theaters and is expected to have a blockbuster opening weekend.
