Angelina Jolie, Brad Pitt Set Wedding Date After DOMA Ruling?
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt have reportedly set a wedding date following the June 26 Supreme Court ruling on the Defense of Marriage Act (DOMA).
The Hollywood couple, who confirmed their engagement in April 2012, previously vowed to wed only after the legalization of same-sex marriage. The U.S. Supreme Court struck down a key provision of DOMA Thursday, ultimately ruling that same-sex couples who are legally married in a state may receive federal benefits. A source now claims fans should expect to see Pitt, 49, and Jolie, 37, walk down the aisle soon.
"The wedding of the century could be this summer," Noah Levy, one of the co-hosts on Vh1′s The Gossip Table, said on June 27. "Brad and Angelina actually have set a date."

In May Jolie, who recently underwent a double mastectomy, reportedly told friends that she and the "World War Z" actor would get married soon particularly because their children are reportedly eager to watch them tie the knot.
"Angie is keen on a wedding and the kids are clamoring for a marriage and keep asking Brad and Angie when it's happening," a source previously told the Daily Mail. "Brad has been caught up in production turmoil with his new film World War Z, so there's been no wedding planning as a result, but Angie has said it will happen sooner rather than later."
In 2009, Pitt, who was previously married to actress Jennifer Aniston, expressed his support for same-sex marriage by vowing to wait to marry Jolie until "its legal for everyone else."
"I have love in my life, a soul mate–absolutely. When someone asked me why Angie and I don't get married, I replied, 'Maybe we'll get married when it's legal for everyone else.' I stand by that, although I took a lot of flak for saying it– hate mail from religious groups," Pitt previously told Parade magazine.
