Angelina Jolie New Tattoo Creates Stir (PHOTO)

Actress Angelina Jolie is known for her numerous tattoos and has recently added to her collection. Jolie inked the phrase "Know Your Rights" across the back of her neck, leading to even more fan fascination with the star.

She debuted the tattoo this weekend, saying, "It's a song title by my favorite band"- The Clash. Jolie, however, is known for her work with refugees and fostering international relations. She has been named a Goodwill Ambassador to the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees.

Jolie, along with fiancé Brad Pitt, founded the Maddox Jolie Pitt Foundation, which is "dedicated to eradicating extreme rural poverty, protecting natural resources and conserving wildlife."

When it comes to working with refugees, however, Jolie has stated: "I think it's what comes down to everything for all these people, for refugees, for everybody. It's for them to know what their rights are, and then gives them the ability- for children who are trafficked, for women who are vulnerable, for everybody."

"The Declaration of Human Rights says everybody has the right to an education, or everybody has the right to freedom of movement. Everybody has the right- you know, that these things are in our law. If you really look into [it]," Jolie explained, "we're all protected somehow."

Justice has been an important theme of Jolie's work as she is the proud supporter of 24 various charities. "I honestly want to help. I think we all want justice and equality, a chance for a life with meaning," she told reporters.

Jolie has a variety of tattoos, including the longitude and latitude coordinates of the birthplaces of her children, Maddox, Zahara, Shiloh and Pax. Her last tattoo was in honor of fiancé Brad Pitt and matches those of the children. She inked the coordinates of Pitt's hometown, Shawnee, Oklahoma.

Jolie is next scheduled to appear in an adaptation of Walt Disney's "Sleeping Beauty," named "Maleficent." The movie is already generating a great deal of buzz and is scheduled to be released next year.
