Brad Pitt, Angelina Jolie Divorce: 'We Will Always Be Family'
Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are reportedly in good terms, co-parenting their six kids, amidst the divorce proceedings and custody battles.
According to E! News, Jolie was in Cambodia last month to attend the premiere of "First They Killed My Father," a documentary she had directed. Maddox, 15; Pax, 13; Zahara, 12; Shiloh; 10 and twins Vivienne and Knox, 8, were all with her, as they explored her eldest son's home country. Pitt was reportedly in Cambodia as well and they took turns spending time with the kids. He did not join in the press tour, though, preferring to stay out of the limelight.
In September 2016, the ex-couple made headlines when Jolie filed for divorce after her two-year marriage with Pitt. They had been a couple for far longer, having gotten together presumably in 2005 after they had both starred in "Mr. and Mr. Smith." Rumors that they were dating quickly caught fire but Pitt was still married to Jennifer Aniston at the time.
In January 2017, it was revealed that Pitt and Jolie agreed to settle things through a private judge. He is said to be doing well, meeting friends and trying out sculpting as hobby following the split.
In a recent interview with George Stephanopolous of ABC News, Jolie said that her family is in a "healthier" place now. She said that Pitt is a wonderful father to the kids and that they would always be family. This March, she also revealed her plans for herself and for her children. According to her, her family would come first before her work.
"I imagine I will spend my days traveling from country to country to visit our children, who I expect will live around the world. I think some will be interested in the international work I do, and I would love to partner with them as I continue. I imagine I will be less involved in film and be focused more on family and foreign affairs," Jolie told Hello Magazine.
