Ann Coulter Suggests Meghan McCain Be Killed in New Post
Ann Coulter is at the center of controversy once again as a recent post on her website suggested that Meghan McCain be killed. Coulter has claimed it was all in good humor, but McCain and others are clearly not amused and have said that Coulter crossed a line.
"MSNBC's Martin Bashir suggested that Republican senators need to have a member of their families killed for them to support the Democrats' gun proposals. (Let's start with Meghan McCain!)" Coulter posted in an article entitled "Liberals Go Crazy for the Mentally Ill."
"Apparently Ann Coulter made a joke about me being killed in a recent column. I should expect nothing less but disgusted regardless," McCain tweeted in response to the article. "My father is a very famous politician. My family gets a lot of threats. Joking about me being killed really isn't funny or appropriate," she added.

Cindy McCain responded with harsher words for Coulter, calling her "incredible despicable, crazy, and sick."
"Ann Coulter needs to get a life! Ann Coulter, have one of your family members threatened. See how you feel!" Cindy McCain tweeted.
"AC is out of control! Step up the class please, Ann," tweeted @MeganRyk.
"Hopefully Coulter will hear this message," responded Politisite.com. "I think Ann Coulter has crossed a line here. While MSNBC was speaking in generalizations, Coulter chose a specific."
"A little perspective this morning," McCain tweeted on Thursday. "People like Ann Coulter are part of the past and only live to spread hate and negativity. I literally couldn't imagine living a life that seems so void of love, compassion and perspective. Basically I get up every day wanting to make this world a better place, and people like her want to make it a worse place. I feel [blessed] to have not grown up to be a person like that."
The two have been engaged in a battle of the words since 2009, when McCain said that Coulter was responsible for perpetuating "negative stereotypes about Republicans."
