Anna Faris Admits Wanting an Affair with Chris Pratt While Married to First Husband in Memoir
Anna Faris made a bold confession in her upcoming memoir, "Unqualified," which arrives in bookstores this October. She said she wanted to have an affair with Chris Pratt back when she was still married to her first husband, Ben Indra.
Excerpts from the actress' new book revealed some shocking anecdotes. She wrote that she felt this strong attraction towards Pratt when they met and did "Take Me Home Tonight" in 2007.
Despite this, however, Pratt never made his advances because she was still married but it made Faris question her relationship at Indra. Friends like Topher Grace and Dan Fogler made her see the true state of her marriage, so she asked Indra for a divorce.
"Pretty soon I was knocking on Chris's door and was basically like, 'Hi, I'm ready to get boned,'" Faris joked in her book. She professed, however, that while she's not completely innocent about having feelings for Pratt, she did not cheat on her first husband.
Faris and Indra divorced in February 2008 after almost four years of marriage. She and Pratt then got hitched in July 2009 and had a son, Jack, in 2012.
Last August, however, Faris and Pratt jointly announced their separation. The couple have been going to counselling to help their son ease into the new situation.
Speculations were that the couple drifted apart because of Pratt's rising box office star power from films like "Guardians of the Galaxy" and "Jurassic Park." Faris, however, also achieved much success with her Emmy-winning TV show "Mom" and her podcast "Unqualified."
Speaking of "Mom," the comedy series will return for season 5 on CBS this November. The premiere episode will see Christy (Faris) going back to school and Bonnie (Allison Janey) contemplating on her relatioship with Adam (William Fichtner). The episode will also feature the return of Natasha (Missi Pyle), the birth mom of Jill's (Jaime Pressly) foster daughter.
"Mom" season 5 will premiere on Thursday, Nov. 2, at 9:00 p.m. EST. Faris' memoir "Unqualified," will be released on Oct. 24. Pratt wrote the Foreword.
