Trebunskaya has been a standard on "Dancing With the Stars," so it came as a surprise when she was not named during this year's cast reveal. However, the 32-year-old soon explained why she had to sit out the season: she was pregnant.

"It wasn't planned, but when it happened, I thought, 'This is perfect – I'm ready to be a mom.' This is something really good for me and fulfilling, and it'll give me a whole new meaning in life. I'm really looking forward to it," she told Us Weekly at the time. "My mom is so excited she's going to be a grandmother."

The dancer remained quiet about the baby's father and only said that he was "very supportive" of her pregnancy. Speculation swirled throughout the pregnancy, but now that baby Amalya is here, Trebunskaya decided to reveal all. It's a huge step for the new mom, but one she felt ready for.

"It was interesting because in the last six to eight months, I was saying to my friends, 'I'm ready for a change. I feel a change coming on.' And sure enough, this is going to be one huge change," she said.

The star has had a lot of support from family and friends, as well as the "DWTS" community and fans who have all wished her well during her pregnancy and have welcomed baby Amalya with much excitement and best wishes.

"Even though this was not planned, I believe things happen for a reason and it was meant to be," Trebunskay previously told People magazine.
