Anquan Boldin Leaning on God Amid 49ers Trade
Anquan Boldin, the 32-year-old wide receiver that helped the Baltimore Ravens win a Super Bowl ring in February, is leaning on God after hearing he was being traded to the San Francisco 49ers.
Boldin has been vocal about wanting to stay with the Ravens for the rest of his career.
"Baltimore is the only place I want to play. It's the last place that I will play," Boldin told Pro Football Talk last month. "For me, I'll retire a Raven, I'm not putting on any other uniform."

However, the wideout told ESPN that he was shocked to learn about a trade announced Tuesday that would take him to San Francisco.
"It was shocking at first ... but I mean it, for me, it is also a good thing," Boldin told ESPN. "When I look at the organization and what they're about ... and as a football team, the talent that they have ... I think it's good, a good place for me to be."
Still, the receiver took to Twitter to let the world know that he was grateful to the Ravens.
"I would like thank the Ravens fans for their incredible support for myself and my family throughout my years in Baltimore," he wrote. "I am grateful in getting to know you and will miss what I call home. I thought this was the last stop of my career but regardless of the circumstances I came here to win a Championship and in February we came home Champions."
Ozzie Newsome, Ravens general manager, admitted that the decision to let Boldin go from the team was not an easy one.
"Managing and assembling your roster is difficult and among the most important things we do," Newsome said in a USA Today report. "It is not always pleasant, and in the case of Anquan, it is unpleasant. We know he can still play at a high level. What he has done in his three seasons with us goes well beyond the numbers, and his numbers are very good."
Ultimately, Boldin told over 100,000 Twitter followers that he would let God handle his future with the 49ers.
"For my future in San Francisco, I will leave that in God's hands," Boldin tweeted.
