Apollo Nida Responds To Rumors Of Separation From Phaedra Parks

Apollo Nida is refuting rumors claiming that his marriage to Phaedra Parks, an Atlanta attorney and cast member of "The Real Housewives of Atlanta," is on the rocks following his recent alleged bank theft and identity fraud charges.

Nida made headlines last week for creating fake businesses, false bank accounts and using stolen checks while defrauding automotive lenders, according to Access Atlanta reports. The news caused people like media maven Wendy Williams to publicly advise Parks to leave her husband.

"Apollo and Phaedra, it's time for you to get off reality TV. It's really bad," Williams said on her show. "Those Bravo checks aren't big enough to buy a new funeral home and clothes for Mr. President. Somebody needed a job from some place."

After S2S magazine took to Twitter to question if the pair have separated, Nida responded.

"‪@s2smag‬ ‪@BravoATLWives‬ ‪@Bravotv‬ ‪@wendywillams‬ NEVER," Nida exclaimed on the social networking website.

After the new season of her reality television series began last November, fans began to see the playful couple that is Parks and Nida begin to bicker on screen. While tensions rose Parks insisted that she has a strong foundation with the father of her two sons.

Still, Parks readily admits that marriage is not easy.

"Marriage is tough," she told S2S magazine last year. "The more time you can spend with your spouse-definitely quality time-it sorta makes it a lot better and hopefully it creates more intimacy in the relationship."

Parks previously defended her marriage after it came under scrutiny at the end of season five on her show.

"I have a strong marriage," Parks told In Touch Weekly last year. "...There are no secrets."
