The Apple Event for October 2013 takes place Tuesday and should see the release for the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2. The keynote event should start on October 22 at about 10 a.m. PT (1 p.m. ET), and Apple has now confirmed that it will be live streaming the event online for everyone to see.
The iPad 5, iPad Mini 2 event will be live streamed on the Apple Events website for free - a link to the live stream can be found below.

Live Streaming video requires Safari 4 or later on OS X v10.6 or later; Safari on iOS 4.2 or later. Streaming via Apple TV requires second- or third-generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later.

For today's event, in addition to the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2, Apple is rumored to also be releasing the latest MacBook Pros, Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks.
The unveiling of the iPad 5 and iPad Mini 2 should take place during the keynote speech, and the devices' release dates should land on October 22.
The iPad 5 will have a host of upgraded features and specs and will come with an A7X 64-bit chip processor, camera upgrade, thinner bezels and a screen resolution of 2,048 by 1,536 pixels.
Meanwhile, the iPad Mini 2 is rumored to feature an A7 dual-core or A6X processor, camera upgrades and retina display.
Both new iPads have also been rumored to be following various features found on the new Apple iPhone 5S, such as new color options (Gold, Space Gray, Silver) and Touch ID fingerprint sensors, however, a stream of reports have recently denied they will be featured on the new iPads.
The Apple event will also likely feature the new MacBook Pros, Mac Pro and OS X Mavericks.
The new Mac Pro release date is set for November 15, but the upgraded device may be previewed during the October 22 special event. The updated MacBook Pros and OS X Mavericks are also scheduled for a fall release date, but could be shown off at the event on October 22.
The Apple event will take place from the Yerba Buena Center for the Arts in San Francisco. Apple of course sent out official invitations for the event last Tuesday morning, stating, "We still have a lot to cover."
