Apple iOS 11.0.3 Continue To Anger Users Two Weeks Later

While Apple users continue to wait patiently for the salvation that is iOS 11.1, they still have to contend with iOS 11.0.3 as it continues to cause a lot of headaches. The problem has gotten so bad that even the tech giant's most passionate fans can no longer deny it.

Longtime Apple news and rumor site Apple Insider recently penned an article on the topic writing that the problems with battery life and instability don't seem to have a common cause, or are easily rectifiable. This basically says that the current iteration of the iOS as the source of the problem not the wide array of devices it's currently on.

The article also highlighted several posts in forums as well as Reddit that has since garnered massive following mainly due to users having the same problems. One such post on Apple's Official Support Communities forum a post reporting multiple problems within iOS 11.0.3 particularly its battery life now has over 1200 endorsements confirming to Apple that "I have this question too."

Another post, this time in Reddit, describing how the this particular user's iPhone has taken a "nosedive" following the iOS 11 update has garnered over 400 comments, almost all of which empathize with author. Another thread decrying a slew of performance and stability problems now has 2000 comments, also in support of the author.

Even worse, it appears that users are now slowly getting fed up with updates that only address small number of issues at a time. Affected users are often arguing that this is the end of Apple while unaffected ones rebutting that there is clearly no problem. It seems that only the arrival of the iOS 11.1 and possibly even its successor the iOS 11.2 will be able to bring things back to normal.

iOS 11.1 is already showing great promise with regards to problems such as battery life if the beta is to be any proof. However, this is just one of the many issues faced by iPhone and iPad users so clearly it still has a long way to go. Nevertheless, this is the only hope of ever salvaging the situation and unless Apple plans to bleed its userbase dry, a fix will have to come soon.
