iPad Pro vs Microsoft Surface Pro 4 specs, release date rumors: Clash of the tablets to happen this October
There's a lot in store for tech junkies this coming October because two flagship tablets are going to be released on the same month this year. According to Yibada, the Apple iPad Pro is speculated to come out in October which is also the expected schedule of release of Microsoft's Surface Pro 4. It pretty much looks like a big gadget clash especially since both devices are worth considering.
Last year, rumors about Apple working on a bigger version of iPad started circulating. The said tablet was eventually revealed to be called as iPad Pro. And just recently, reports suggest that the Cupertino giant may announce the latest tablet in October this year. DigiTimes reported that the iPhone creator collaborated with Sharp to provide the tech giant 12.9 inches Open Cell LCD screens for the iPad Pro. They also made arrangements with Foxcomm's company General Interface Solution (GIS) to supply the touch modules as well as LCM assembly. Rumors about a Force Touch-assisted stylus have also been going around causing fans to be curious with its authenticity.
The iPad Pro is said to start production by the end of August while mass production will commence in September. This can mean that the sales of the latest gadget will most likely begin at the end of October or at the start of November.
On the other hand, Microsoft, just like Apple, is also gearing up for the release of the Surface Pro 4 which is expected to be loved by fans. Sources revealed that the next Surface will be using the new Skylake chipset and will the same 4/8GB of RAM with a potential 16GB high-end option. Reports also say that Microsoft may launch the Surface Pro 4 with a bigger display and better resolution, along with its lighter and thinner design compared to the Surface Pro 3.
So, which is better? Which one wins the clash? Fans of the two tech companies will have to wait and see during its release.
