Apple iPhone 6S News, Rumors: Photos of Housing for the Next-Gen Apple Phone Emerge Online
Apple is expected to unveil its latest flagship, the Apple iPhone 6s and the iPhone 6s Plus. Just as the usual, details about the new smartphones are being kept under wraps but one tipster inside the Cupertino-based tech giant leaked a series of images of what appears to be the housing of the said devices.
Pictures posted on 9to5Mac show a casing with new mounting points, which will be used to attach a brand new logic board.
According to the publication, this particular housing detail would coincide with the earlier reports that the iPad Mini maker will be using a "combination of System in Package technology (SiP) and a PCB" for the next model lineup of its popular phones. Using the former system would allow the company to create slimmer handsets and bigger battery capacities.

As what has been told earlier this week, the upcoming models will take its cue from the outgoing series. The microphones, speakers, and connector ports are seen in exact positions like the iPhone 6 and iPhone 6 plus.
The leaked photo also revealed a Space Gray color scheme of the housing. 9to5Mac, however, noted that the final assembly could feature a much darker gray option which will consequently match with the color scheme found in the Apple Watch.
Contrary to earlier rumors, the new iPhone 6s and iPhone 6s Plus won't be arriving with a dual-lens camera system. The leaked pictures blatantly show that it would exactly be identical with the former models.
The new series, however, is expected to come with the Force Touch feature, a functionality that recognizes the varying degrees of pressure levels that would differentiate a light tap from a touch.
The Apple flagship is expected to debut this September.
