Apple Reportedly Plans to Unveil iPhone 7 This Year
Apple is reportedly set to release an iPhone 7 also dubbed as iPhone 6S.
Apple fans can expect that the iPhone 7 will have a traditional 4.7-inch screen rather than a bigger size since the company just released the iPhone 6 Plus. When it comes to smartphone designs, Apple is not known for introducing new styles in just a span of several months.
Reports also say that the iPhone 7 will be in aluminum and will sport a rounded and slim framework. Users can reportedly choose between silver, gold and slate grey models.
There are reports that Apple is currently developing the handset with a stronger sapphire to make it more durable. The liquid metal material will be used will create a lighter but sturdier model.
Not only is the design improved, but the processor as well. There are speculations that iPhone 7 will have A9 together an M9 co-processor, which will make the device's performance faster. It will reportedly run with an iOs 9 operating system.
There are no reports yet about the battery but the iPhone 7 will reportedly feature the long-awaited wireless charging. Aside from that a side-wall display is reportedly in the works. The device will display icons on the sides of the phone.
The side to unlock function will probably be located at the sides of the iPhone 7 as well as the music controls, message notifications and caller ID.
The wireless charging and sidewall display are great features but users will definitely look forward to better display resolution. The iPhone 6 Plus has 401 ppi, which is not at par with its rivals such as the LG G3's 583 ppi and Samsung Galaxy Note 4's 515 ppi.
The good news is reports say that the iPhone 7's camera is with DSLR quality and dual lens. This will enable the device to produce quality photos despite low light and allow zoom capabilities.
There is no confirmation yet from Apple about the development of an iPhone 7 but reports say the company will probably release it in September.
