Apple’s Black Friday Sales Leaked

An insider managed to get much-sought details on Apple’s Black Friday 2011 deals, and some of the prices on iPads, iPods, MacBooks, and accessories are much better than years past.

Apple does not call Nov. 25 a Black Friday Day, deciding instead on the more exaggerated “Apple one-day event.” Almost all the store’s merchandise will sell at severely reduced prices for the day.

For computing needs, Apple offers great sales on Macs. They will sell $101 less than originally advertised. The deal also includes the iMac, the lighter and thinner MacBook Air, and the mobile, more popular MacBook Pro. The base level MacBook Air gets the biggest discount, selling at just $898, which beats the MacConnection price by a dollar.

Besides Mac sales, Apple cut iPad sales that will undoubtedly boost profits on its already-dominant tablet. The savings, however, depend on exactly how much a consumer spends. iPads are discounted, and depending on what version is bought, buyers receive anywhere from $41 to $61 off retail price.

Rounding out the technology pricing for Apple’s Black Friday deals are iPods. iPod deals seem to mirror the iPad deals in that savings are directly correlated to how much is spend. The iPod Touch ranges from $21 to $41 discounts. The iPod Nano gives you the same $11 off whether consumers pick up the 8 GB or 16 GB sizes, though.

Apple did not stop the deals at technology. The accessories also got a price drop. The iPad 2’s Smart Cover gets an $11 chop, and so do the Apple Wireless Keyboard and Apple Wireless Magic Trackpad. Consumers get $5 off a $50 iTunes gift card, and discounts on the AirPort Extreme, Time Capsule, and AirPort Express.

The technology giant extended their discounts even to non-Apple products, like Jawbone Up, the Phillips clock radio, the mophie JuicePack Air, the Speck CandyShell iPhone 4/4S case, and more.
