Archbishop of Canterbury to Attend Popes Funeral
Rev. Rowan Williams will become the first serving Archbishop of Canterbury to attend a Popes funeral when he goes to Rome this Friday for Pope John Paul II. According to the Anglican Communion News Service, Williams was pleased and honored to accept the invitation.
Williams will be traveling with the Archbishops Secretary for International and Ecumenical Affairs, the Rev. Andrew Norman, and the Archbishops Secretary for Public Affairs, Jeremy Harris.
