'ARMS' Update 3.2 News: Nintendo's Update Includes New Features and Bug Fixes

Nintendo has dropped a new update for ARMS — the same update that the tech giant teased more than a week ago. With the new update, ARMS is now in its version 3.2, introducing new features, adjustments, and bug fixes. The only bad news about the new update is that the character that many ARMS players thought was a new playable mecha version of Spring Man will not actually be a playable fighter.

When the teaser for the new update was released, many thought that the new character would be a playable version of Spring Man. It turns out, however, that he is a new boss character named Springton, who pops up in the final stages of "Grand Prix" if a player manages to win all his matches.

Although Springton is something of a disappointment for fans, the new update comes with a fair amount of content that will be good enough to make them want to play it more. Included in the new set of features is the Badge, which allows players to receive neat badges as a reward when they are able to fulfill certain conditions. They can also wear these badges to intimidate their opponents.

The update also comes with a Recent Replays feature, which allows users to view replays of their past matches — even the oldest ones. During a replay playback, the "+" and "-" buttons bring up the menu instead of toggling HP gauge display. Also, ZR no longer switches between targets during replay playback; instead, the "X" button works in switching camera angles.

Version 3.2 also gets certain ARMS issues fixed, including instances when the snakeboard continuously accelerates when players jump on it after suffering an ice attack. The new update also fixes another glitch, where fighters suddenly become unable to move under certain conditions when battle rules are set to 1-punch K.O. It also adjusts the abilities and skills of other fighters.
