'Arrow' Season 3 News, Spoilers: Promo for Crossover Episode With 'The Flash' Shows Ollie in a League Uniform

The stakes are getting high right now with just about a handful of episodes left before the current season of the hit crime-fighting and superhero TV drama series "Arrow" comes to an end.

Roy Harper (Colton Haynes) was locked up for taking on the identity of the Arrow instead of Oliver (Stephen Amell). The ever persistent Ra's Al Ghul (Matthew Nable), on the other hand, won't back up with his plans to make Ollie a part of his League.

A new promotional video for an upcoming crossover episode between "Arrow" and "The Flash" in which Oliver was seen donning a League of Assassins' garb instead of his green archer uniform that fans of the show often see him in.

Avid followers of the DC TV series were quick to theorize that Ollie may have already bowed to the will of Ra's Al Ghul and become the next "Demon." What could drive him to do so?

Movie Pilot speculated that Roy/Arsenal might be killed off in the next episode while being in prison. With the will to keep Starling City free of criminals and such, Ollie will then take Ra's offer to continue his mission while making sure that his identity is being kept under wraps.

Of course the show's hero will eventually come to his senses as what executive producer Marc Guggenheim suggested in his Twitter post showing the image of the show's finale episode titled "My Name is Oliver Queen."

One way or another, the city he loved may know who the real person is behind the green archer costume.

Meanwhile, a synopsis for this week's episode titled "Broken Arrow" was posted on the Futon Critic and it reads:

"Lance (Paul Blackthorne) continues his mission to take down the Arrow (Stephen Amell) so Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) orders Oliver to keep a low profile. However, when a meta-human named Jake Simmons (guest star Doug Jones), who kills people with blasts of energy and plasma, starts terrorizing Starling City, Oliver is forced to ask Ray (Brandon Routh) for help. The unlikely duo is forced to team up to save the city."

"Arrow" Season 3 airs Wednesday, at 8 p.m. on The CW.
