'Arrow' Season 4 has a line-up of villains ready for Team Arrow
New villains are gathering in Season 4 of "Arrow" and the heroes will have to band together to fight them. Starling City becomes Star City. Arrow gets a costume & name change. He will be the "Green Arrow." Damian Darhk will be the new villain, arch nemesis of the Green Arrow. Damian's organization, H.I.V.E., will be the big baddie this season.
Damian Dahrk is a mysterious, crafty villain backed with sci-fi technology. This makes him awesome and his abilities are a great challenge to Arrow. Neal McDonough will be playing this suave villain.
Season 2 of "Arrow" had mentioned "The H.I.V.E." and their name has been coming up in the rumors and speculations surrounding the upcoming season.
The other formidable enemy for Arrow and his team will be the father-daughter duo, Malcolm Merlyn, played by John Barrowman, and Thea Queen, played by Willa Holland. This season will see the rise of Thea as a villain as she had many times turned her back on Oliver and worked with her father, the villain Malcolm.
Next villain is Baron Blitzkrieg played by British actor Jimmy Akingbola who as THR reports, will be a villain of the 'flashback sequences' and the leader of the Shadowspire, another dark, mysterious break-away faction.
Ryan Robbins will be playing Conklin, who is a sadistic and ruthless member of Shadowspire whereas JR Bourne of "Teen Wolf" will play Double Down, a minor Flash villain who uses his tattoos of playing cards as his weapons. That should be interesting.
According to The Wrap, there are rumors that a Flash/Arrow crossover has been planned and the villain will be a 'metahuman Flash' villain.
Matt Ryan becomes John Constantine once again on episode 5 of "Arrow" season 4 titled, "Haunted."
So many villains to dispose of this season. The tagline on the new poster of Arrow seems so apt. "Aim. Higher." Arrow has his team ready – Speedy, his sister; Laurel Lance as Black Canary; and Diggle in a new avatar.
So get ready for a season filled with some superb fights and action sequences. Season 4 of "Arrow" returns on October 7th on The CW.
