'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers, Plot Rumors: Malcom Merlyn Returns, Matt Ryan to Reprise Role as Constantine

It has been a long wait for the TV series "Arrow" but now it has returned with the first two episodes already aired. Fans are eager to find out more in the upcoming episodes especially since the series kicked off with lots of action.

The first thing that fans can expect to happen on the show is the return of Malcom Merlyn, played by John Barrowman. According to Inquisitr, a photo shared by Spoiler TV clearly showed the character's comeback in the third episode titled "Restoration." It can be remembered that Merlyn was offered the League of Assassins and made the new Ra's al Ghul by Oliver. This makes Oliver aware of who could be behind an attack and also lets him know of his weaknesses. But not everyone is happy about Malcom being the new Ra's though, especially the daughter of the previous one, Nyssa.

More about his return was also shown in the preview released. As it appears, he doesn't want to help Laurel (Katie Cassidy) resurrect her sister Sara (guest star Caity Lotz) who has been dead for a year already. Bringing Sara back could also bring effects that could be worse than Thea's going a bit in a different direction in recent episodes this season.

Unreality TV also reported that Merlyn will be returning to form and will try to be a good father to Thea. And speaking of Laurel, the character will play a major role on the upcoming episode. She has asked help from Thea to resurrect her sister. She also learned about the Lazarus Pit and plans to use it on Sara.

Merlyn isn't the only one making a comeback. According to Mstars News, Constantine, played by Matt Ryan, will also be returning for the fourth season specifically in episode five. The actor is said to reprise his role as John Constantine. He is called by Oliver (Stephen Amell) to ask for help after things turn worse for Sara.

"Arrow" Season 4 Episode 3 will air on Oct. 21.
