'Arrow' Season 4 Spoilers: Oliver Returns, Gets Serious with Felicity

"Arrow" Season 4 is due to return on The CW on Wednesday, October 7, and spoilers have been circulating over Oliver's (Stephen Amell) expected return to Team Arrow.

Five months after Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) threw in her lot with Oliver and decided to leave the life of fighting crime, Season 2 of "Arrow" is ready for their return as their past comes back to haunt them while they've been enjoying domestic bliss in relative anonymity.

With Season 2 heralding the trouble Damien Darhk (Neal McDonough) is causing, Oliver is set to make a comeback to Team Arrow and save Star City from the Darhk-ness.

While Deathstroke and Ra's al Ghul may have given Team Arrow some tough times in the previous season, Darhk may prove to be more difficult to beat with his sinister magical powers and his connection to H.I.V.E., especially seeing how he appears to enjoy his victims' suffering.

Thea (Willa Holland), Diggle (David Ramsey), and Laurel (Kate Cassidy) will be seen struggling to keep the city safe and have convinced Oliver to come back for good after he drops by for a temporary visit.

There are also speculations Oliver and Felicity may be thinking of getting married, as well, taking their relationship to a whole new level, with kids thrown in. The only question remains is when Oliver may be planning to get down on his knees to propose and whether his return to crime fighting will derail their plans altogether.

Diggle is expected to be harsh towards Oliver in the coming season, especially in the light of Oliver's betrayal in Season 3. It may take the whole fourth season before the two become comfortable with each other once again. But then again, maybe not.

On another note, while Oliver may be making a return, he won't be head honcho anymore. In his absence, Team Arrow has become a democracy, with the rest of the team members responding more positively to the new dynamic, which Oliver may have to get used to when he comes back.

"Arrow" will begin airing its Season 4 premiere on Wednesday, October 7 at 8pm/7pm CT on The CW.
