'Arrow' Series News: Stephen Amell Says Supergirl Crossover to His Show Very Likely Now that Girl of Steel is Part of CW
Now that Melissa Benoist's "Supergirl" is moving to CW, where other DC superhero series are aired, it is very likely for Supergirl herself to lend her presence to Stephen Amell's "Arrow."
While promoting his upcoming movie "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Out of the Shadows," Amell was asked if there is a possibility for his show to accommodate the presence of the Girl of Steel for a guest appearance and vice versa, to which he responded poetically, "Do bears 'you know what' in the woods?"
The actor then went to answer the question more point blank as he sad that it is very likely that the crossover would happen, pointing out that CW now has four DC superhero series under its ward. For Amell, this is an opportunity that might not happen again and is a first in the history of television. Hence, he expects the people behind the respective DC superhero shows and CW to make the most of the chance.

Heroic Hollywood opines that Amell's pronouncements may not be a far cry after all. The superhero-entertainment website noted that, if it was possible for the Girl of Steel to crossover to "The Flash" in March when it was still being aired on CBS, then, there should even be a bigger possibility for Supergirl to appear on other DC series on CW now that it will be part of the network, including "Arrow," once its second season commences.
After months of speculations, it was finally confirmed last week that "Supergirl" didn't get a renewal from its former mother network and is moving to CW for its second season. According to reports from Collider, while it was true that CBS was willing to accommodate the show for another season, the pricey licensing fee of $3 million that the network needed to pay for airing every episode was the culprit for the non-renewal of the show.
