'Arrow' Series Spoiler: Vixen Supports Oliver Queen In Next Episode

Vixen and Oliver Queen are joining forces in the upcoming episode of the CW series "Arrow" as the former helps the latter in his battle against Darhk.

According to the synopsis of the upcoming episode titled "Taken," the episode will start with Stephen Amell's Oliver Queen battling Darhk and eventually finding himself needing some help. Left with no option, his old friend Vixen finally comes to mind, whom he calls for help eventually.

Hollywood Hills reported that viewers can expect to see Vixen using her animal powers to locate where Darhk is and this will result in a war between the anti-hero and her tandem with Oliver.

However, the "Taken" episode will not only be about the quest of Oliver Queen and Vixen against Darhk. Viewers will also have a chance to witness some heart-to-heart dialogue between Willa Holland's Thea and John Barrowman's Malcolm.

Actress Megalyn Echikunwoke breathes life to Vixen in the upcoming "Arrow" episode.

Vixen is a DC Comics character who has the ability to summon animal powers, thanks to her magical amulet. In the "Justice League Unlimited" version of the character, she and Hawkgirl vied for the love of John Stewart, aka Green Lantern.

International Business Times noted that Vixen was the first-ever black female DC character to have her own comic book series. Her powers come from the animals that she summons, such as the weight of an elephant; speed, claws, and agility of a cheetah; accelerated healing powers and infrared vision of a reptile and many more.

Meanwhile, Amell will have a guest appearance on another CW and DC series, "Legends of Tomorrow," still as Oliver Queen. Dubbed as "Star City 2046," the show will feature the time-travelling superheroes going to the year 2046 and meeting the future version of Oliver Queen, aka Green Arrow, who, by then, has already aged and sporting a goatee.
