Ashton Kutcher Dating? (VIDEO)
Ashton Kutcher has posted a comedic YouTube video spoofing the dating outlets of today.
Poking fun at television shows such as "The Bachelor" as well as ads for online dating, the video's characters are all looking for love through the fake dating site, WorldWideLovers.com.
Entitled "Meet the Bachelors," four different characters are introduced, all portrayed by Kutcher. The "Two and a Half Men" star later appears as himself at the end.
First, "Raj" introduced himself as a Bollywood producer who is looking for "the most delicious thing on the planet." He later added that he seeks someone "Kardashian hot," referring to the reality television stars.
Bachelor number two is Nigel, a British hippie with dreadlocks that seeks "a higher plane of consciousness." The character later describes himself as an "extraordinary lover."
"Money creates taste and I have lots of both," said bachelor number three, Darl. The character imitates the famously outlandish designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Swordfish, the tattooed bachelor number four from the South, indicates his desire for something "spicy" through WorldWideLovers.com.
Lastly, bachelor number five is revealed. Kutcher appears as himself and refers to the other characters as a "freak show."
In addition to providing laughs, the video promotes PopChips, a healthy snack company Kutcher has stakes in.
The video has attracted much attention after its post Wednesday. Kim Kardashian offered her feedback on the funny video, posting to Twitter, "LOL @aplusk! Love this… 'Kardashian hot' #ashtondatingvideo"
"American Idol" host Ryan Seacrest posted, "now it's official… @aplusk is definitely dating again."
Rapper P. Diddy wrote on Twitter, "my man @aplusk is back on the dating scene."
Additionally, other Twitter users chimed in on the satirical video.
"Spot on when it comes to online dating," wrote Paige.
Busy Bee asked, "Is that really @aplusk looking for love online? Get your profiles ready, ladies!"
While Kutcher participated in the comedic video about dating, his real love life is constantly under the media's microscope. Since his split from wife Demi Moore last November, the 34-year-old actor has been rumored to be dating several women, including Mila Kunis and Rihanna, among others.
