Ashton Kutcher Divorce: Actor Comments on Marital Status
Ashton Kutcher has made an announcement on the status of his and Demi Moore's relationship Friday on social networking site Chime.in.
"There's a saying that a lie can travel halfway around the world before the truth can hit someone's lips," the actor said in a revealing statement.
In the almost four minute video Kutcher never gets too specific about what he is talking about, but is clearly bothered by the media attention and admitted fame makes private matters tough to deal with.

"I started thinking about that in relation to social media and media today. The threshold to have literature printed and distributed -- the cost structure went down to zero dollars. Thereby, there is no gatekeeper of the truth,” he said.
“We are our own editors, and our own publishers. We are our own printers. Therefore people can bastardize the truth in any way, shape or truth they want," Kutcher said talking directly to the camera.
Kutcher and Moore were last seen together on an October Kaballah camping trip. No official announcement concerning Sara Leal revealing her and the actors infamous night have been discussed.
"We really have to take it upon ourselves to instill a level of honesty in our works and the media we create and we share with each other. And be certain we are doing our own diligence to ensure what we're saying is for the benefit of another...using our full capacity to share the truth," he said in the video.
Kutcher's main point appeared to be that the media could not be trusted.
The real problems started when Kutcher was spotted partying with Sara Leal.
Leal came out and said a few weeks after the story of the alleged affair broke, that she had a one night stand with Kutcher, after an evening of partying in the star’s San Diego Hard Rock Hotel bedroom Sept. 24 – the night of Kutcher and Demi Moore’s six-year anniversary.
According to Leal, Kutcher approached her and kissed her. Leal claimed that Kutcher told her he had separated from his wife.
Believing what Kutcher said to be true, Leal admitted that the two had sexual relations.
Leal told Us Weekly, “We were having a good time. One thing led to another. I was attracted to him and he was attracted to me.”
While the status of the star couple's relationship is still uncertain, Kutcher has been seen without his wedding ring. Reports from various news outlets have circulated the couple are trying to work it out, but everything is only speculation.
