Ashton Kutcher to Present Award at Emmy's Before Two and a Half Men Debut
Ashton Kutcher will appear at the 63rd Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday as a presenter.
Nominations were announced in July, and Emmy’s producer, Mark Burnett, has begun to announce more details about the show.
Kutcher will be joined by presenters Julianna Margulies, Will Arnett, Zooey Deschanel, and Sofia Vergara, at this year’s Emmy’s.
The following night, Kutcher will make his debut on CBS’s “Two and a Half Men,” in the much-anticipated new season of the comedy series, sans Charlie Sheen.
In another television appearance, Ashton Kutcher and his cast mates on “Two and a Half Men”- Jon Cryer and Angus T. Jones- will appear on David Letterman’s late night show on Thursday.
“Two and a Half Men” premieres on CBS September 19.
Last year’s Best Supporting Actress Emmy winner and Glee star Jane Lynch is to host this year’s awards show, marking the third time a woman has hosted the event alone.
The Primetime Emmy Awards will air live on Fox Sunday, September 18 from Los Angeles at 8 p.m. ET.
Many presenters are also nominated to receive awards this year. Actress on “The Good Wife,” Julianna Margulies is nominated to receive an Emmy for Best Drama Actress, while fellow presenter, Sofia Vergara, is up for Best Comedy Actress for her role in “Modern Family.”
Will Arnett, who is promoting his new show “Up All Night,” is an Outstanding Guest Actor in a Comedy Series Emmy Award nominee for his appearance on “Thirty Rock.”
Also in the lineup of presenters is funny gal Amy Poehler, who is nominated to receive both Best Comedy Actress and Outstanding Comedy Series for “Parks and Recreation.”
Presenter and actress on Fox’s new series “New Girl” Zooey Deschanel is not up for an Emmy.
The ceremony recognizes television’s greatest feats, and will be held at the Nokia Theater.
