'Assassin's Creed: Origins' Season Pass Details Revealed By Ubisoft

Ubisoft has finally unveiled everything that's in store for "Assassin's Creed: Origins" post-launch. These include downloadable content included in the game's season pass as well as content that will be added later in the game free of charge.

The action adventure game will receive two major DLC packs following its October release date namely "The Hidden Ones" and "The Curse of the Pharaohs." Aside from the expansions, the game will also receive a number of smaller add-ons, some of which will be free.

"The Hidden Ones" will be released in January 2018. The expansion is set many years after the base game and involves the player clashing with the Romans in a new region.

"The Curse of the Pharaohs," on the other hand, will launch in March 2018 and will introduce a new, mystical realm. In it, players will encounter beasts such as Anubis warriors, scorpions, and more as they investigate a curse that has been raising dead pharaohs.

Both story expansions will be included the "Assassin's Creed: Origin" season pass free of charge. In addition, the season pass also includes two smaller add-ons containing new outfits and weapons as well as 500 in-game credits. An exclusive weapon, the Calamity Blade, is also included and will be available at launch.

Gamers who buy the Origins' Gold Edition and Steelbook Edition contain the season pass for no extra cost. The season pass will be available in the US for $40 with international pricing to be released to be announced later.

In addition to the expansions, a number of free add-ons and DLC will also be available. These include The Trials of the Gods, The Nomad's Bazaar, Photo mode, Horde mode, and Discovery Tour. Some of these features will be available at launch while others will be added sometime after the game's release.

"Assassin's Creed Origins" is set to be released on Oct. 27 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Microsoft Windows.
