Asus Releases Limited Edition Zenfone Selfie, Features 128 GB Storage & 3 GB of RAM
Taiwanese multinational company Asus has been releasing deluxe versions of their smartphones. After Zenfone 2 Deluxe, Laser and Zoom, the latest limited edition in their device line is the Zenfone Selfie.
According to Softpedia, the company has already released the Zenfone Selfie Limited Edition in China. The price of the said device is not announced yet and it's still not known whether it will be exclusive in the country or if it will be released in the international market.
Just like the Deluxe, the selfie-centric device comes with enhanced specs and features. Phandroid noted that it is equipped with 3 GB of RAM and can now have storage space of up to 128 GB. The regular version only carries 2 GB of RAM and has a capacity of up to only 32 GB of internal storage.
There is also a slight change in terms of the design. It has a nice 3D crystal back cover, which is not found in the original version. It also comes in pink. Other than that, the rest of the specs and features are just the same.
The Zenfone Selfie Limited Edition still carries a 5.5-inch IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen display with full HD support and 1080p resolution. On top of it is a Corning Gorilla Glass 4 coating for protection. As for its hardware, it is equipped with a 64-bit octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and Adreno 405 graphics processing unit. Its operating system is Android v5.0 Lollipop, which is expected to be upgraded with Android 6.0 Marshmallow.
In terms of its camera specs, GSM Arena detailed that the variant will still flaunt a 13-megapixel primary camera with laser autofocus, dual-LED (dual tone) flash and 4128 x 3096 pixels. It features geo-tagging, touch focus, face detection, panorama and HDR. The secondary camera is an impressive one when it comes to taking selfies as it comes with 13 megapixels as well. It also has autofocus and dual-LED (dual tone) flash.
