Audio Adrenaline Gears Up For 'Until My Heart Caves In' Tour

The band teams up with Pillar, Kids in the Way, Superchic[k], and Sanctus Real in support of their ninth studio album

Grammy Award-winning rock band Audio Adrenaline is gearing up for their upcoming “Until My Heart Caves In” 20-plus-city major market tour. The band, who will be touring in support of their ninth studio album Until My Heart Caves In, will be joined on the tour by some of the top rock and alternative acts in the industry today including Ficker Records’ Pillar and Kids in the Way, Inpop’s Superchic[k], and Sparrow Records’ Sanctus Real.

“This is the perfect Audio Adrenaline tour, and is the premiere mainstream Christian rock tour of the season,” adds Mike Snider, Third Coast Artists Agency president. “It features a stellar line up of top artists that will offer a high-energy, fun tour in great rock venues across the country for a remarkably low price that fans and youth pastors alike will appreciate.”

“Until My Heart Caves In is about living for God until your body collapses; it’s about never giving up,” says Audio Adrenaline lead singer Mark Stuart. “We should be worried less about the nice clothes and plastic personas and more about getting on the edge, living with authentic and real passion. This upcoming tour will challenge attendees to live like warriors and to be genuine in their relationships, faith and lifestyles.”

Until My Heart Caves In, which is scheduled for release on August 30, saw Audio Adrenaline teaming with a predominantly mainstream producer for the first time, Jay Joyce (Patty Griffin, The Wallflowers, Iggy Pop, Macy Gray). The band credits Joyce for really capturing the Audio Adrenaline sound, in some ways for the very first time.

“The music’s got attitude, it’s got teeth and we’re all taking a big step forward, definitely moving on with less complacency,” says Audio Adrenaline guitarist/vocalist Tyler Burkum. “Sometimes you make a record and feel like you’ve passed over what it’s saying by the time it come out, but this one really does feel where we’re at right now within our hearts.”

The album’s first single, “King” was the number one added song at CHR/AC radio combined in its first week of release. The song is currently available for download at the iTunes online store.

Here’s what Robert K. Oermann of DISClaimer had to say about “King”:

“The band’s new CD drops August 30th. If the rest of it sounds like this superb single, it will be a major listening experience. The relentless rhythm quickens the pulse, the soaring, heartfelt vocal goes straight to the soul and the ringing guitars fire the brain. Grade A.”

Also happening this August, Audio Adrenaline frontman Mark Stuart and his Victory motorcycle will be embarking on “Hands & Feet Across America,” a coast-to-coast fundraising campaign designed to raise support for The Hands & Feet Project – an orphanage Audio Adrenaline is building from the ground up.

Beginning August 15 in West Palm Beach, FL, Mark will travel 3,000 miles, visiting dozens of radio stations along the way, before reaching his final destination of Sacramento, CA on August 26. The radio station whose listeners raise the most support for The Hands & Feet Project will win a free Audio Adrenaline concert for the town.

Take a full throttled blast of musical passion, meld it with a compassionate desire to impact the world at large and add members’ rock-solid grounding in reality with their vulnerable, no holds barred songwriting and the results comprise what fans can expect from Audio Adrenaline’s nucleus. Thanks to earnest performances and undying appreciation for its fans, the group has sold over three million records and racked up 18 No. 1 singles. Add in an RIAA Certified Gold sales award and the prestigious “CCM Song of the Decade” crowning in the 90s (“Big House”), and Audio Adrenaline has consistently proved its relevance, artistry and heart. The band is also well known for its humanitarian aid, launching the Hands and Feet Project that is dedicated to helping orphans in Haiti. More information on the band can be found at www.AudioA.com.
