Australian Hurdler Michelle Jenneke Dance Goes Viral With Millions of Views
Australian hurdler, Michelle Jenneke's warm up dance has gone viral on the Internet. The viral video shows Jenneke warming up for her pre-final race at the IAAF World Junior Championships in Barcelona, although her warm up routine looks more like she is dancing.
The 19 year old's warm up routine has received nearly 7 million views on YouTube since Wednesday.
Michelle Jenneke is an Australian hurdler, but she will not be going to the London 2012 Olympic Games this month. However, many have touted her as an up and coming talent who will surely feature in four years time at the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro in Brazil.
Following her famous dance Jenneke won her pre-final 100 meter heat but failed to win the overall championship title. In the final she ended up coming in fifth.
She has been part of Australia's delegation at the 2010 Singapore Youth Olympic Games, running the 100 meter hurdles and the women's medley relay; in the hurdles, she came in second, and the medley relay team came in fourth.
When asked about the dance before racing, she said: "When you know you're good at something ... Enjoy."
