Autistic Boy Hate Letter: Anonymous Hate Letter Demands Boy Be Euthanized; Hundreds Rally to Support
An autistic boy has received a hate letter telling him and his family that no-one would ever love him or employ him, and demand that he move into the woods or be euthanized.
The shocking hate letter has gone viral online and hundreds of Internet users have been rallying round to support the under fire family, and express their disgust at the author of the letter.
The 13 year old autistic boy's mother, Karla Begley, has been left devastated by the letter says, saying, "It made me sick to my stomach to think that somebody hated my son that much and they didn't even know him. But they just hated him because he was different. That's the only reason they had to hate him," according to The Toronto Star.
Her son, Maxwell, lives with her in Oshawa, and she describes that he loves the movie Grease, as well as trampolines and go-karts.
Wisely, Karla has not revealed the contents of the hate letter to her son, but admits that he has noticed that a lot of attention has been coming him way of late since the letter's arrival.
Karla said, "He doesn't know anything about the letter. He loves the attention, he thinks he's famous."
The anonymous hate letter was written by someone who claims to live near the boy's grandmother's house, in a Newcastle neighborhood. The hater complains that when Maxwell comes to visit his grandma, Brenda Millson, he makes a "noise polluting whaling (sic)" that "scares the hell out of my normal children!!!!"
The horrendous letter slams that the young autistic boy is a "hindrance to everyone." Furthermore the author demands, "Do the right thing and move or euthanize him!!! Either way, we are ALL better off!!!"
The hater concludes, "Sincerely, One p****d off mother!"
The boy's grandma admits that as she finished reading the letter she was already in tears and shaking.
"After I finished reading it, I was crying and shaking," Millson says.
Maxwell was diagnosed with autism at 20 months of age, and Durham Region polie have been notified of the shocking hate mail. They are reportedly consulting with prosecutors to determine whether any laws have been broken.
