'Avengers 3: Infinity Wars' Release Date News: Quicksilver to Rise From the Dead and Appear in Sequel?
The third installment of the action-filled movie "Avengers" will be coming to the big screen on 2018. "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars" will be distributed into two films.
Part I of "Infinity War" is said to feature a lot of Marvel's biggest superheroes. Rumors have also been circulating that director Joss Whedon will reportedly bring back a character from "Age of Ultron" that was killed off.
It can be recalled in "Avengers: Age of Ultron" that Quicksilver, the other half of the Maximoff twins, was hit by a dozen or more bullets that caused his demise. This has led some of the fans to wonder if Quicksilver really did die or is he going to be back for the sequel.
Actor Aaron Taylor-Johnson, who played Quicksilver, shared some details on his character and why his death had to essentially take place at the climax of the film.
"It really gives (the movie) sort of an emotional twist to it. A surprise," he told Cinema Blend.
He also spilled that Marvel had a costume designed for him if he didn't die. Does this mean that the viewers get to see him one more time in the next movie? There are no details to that yet but the debonair actor did make a remark that "it was definitely an alternative."
In a report made by Franchise Herald, it revealed a plot rumor that in "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars," Quicksilver will be restored with an elixir called Terrigen Mist and with this potion he will be able to procure the power to sail through time as an enhancement of his prior speed. But this remains speculation.
Fans will just have to wait and see as to what will really be the fate of Quicksilver. The first part of "Avengers 3: Infinity Wars" will hit theaters on May 4, 2018 while part 2 will be released on May 3, 2019.
