Avril Lavigne Pregnant? Singer Fuels Baby Bump Speculation

Avril Lavigne sparked rumors of a pregnancy on Thursday while sightseeing and shopping in Paris with her new fiancé Chad Kroeger.

The Canadian singer stunned her fans in August after announcing her engagement to Kroeger but it was not Lavigne's 14-carat diamond ring that set tongues wagging in France, it was her appearance that prompted talks of a possible baby bump.

The 27-year-old was dressed in loose clothing during her daytime outing with Kroeger, 37, she was seen wearing a flowing black skirt paired with a black skeleton printed hoodie which appeared to show off what some critics believe is a rounded baby bump.

Lavigne appeared to be glowing at her Abbey Dawn fashion show in New York City recently and when asked by a reporter whether she is pregnant with the couple's first child , she responded with "Ahh … are you!?" before running away, according to The New York Post.

Kroeger, who is the lead vocalist and guitarist for the Canadian rock band Nickelback, recently revealed that he proposed to Lavigne after just six months of dating and before was able to introduce her to his parents.

"You never know what your parents are going to say when you tell them you're getting married- especially when it's with someone they haven't met yet!" Kroeger told Hello! Canada.

"My mom is a huge fan of Avril's, so putting her on the speaker phone and telling her the news was hilarious and equally embarrassing," he went on.

Although the pair only dated for a short period prior to getting engaged, Lavigne said that the response has been overwhelmingly positive.

"Everyone is super stoked for us. The reaction from our friends and family has been awesome!" Lavigne said.

Prior to Kroeger, Lavigne had dated former MTV reality TV star Brody Jenner for two years following her 2009 divorce from Sum41 lead guitarist Deryck Whibley.
