'Awkward' Season 5 Episode 7 Spoilers and Episode 6 Recap: Will Jenna Tell Matty the Truth? Jenna's Dream
In the upcoming episode of "Awkward" entitled "The Big Reveal," the official synopsis reads, "Jenna wants to tell Matty the truth."
In the preview for the episode it seems that Jenna will need the courage to tell Matty the truth about how she really feels. But before she can tell him, she will need to believe it herself that they are meant to be, despite the fact that she is harboring a lot of insecurities at the moment. Gabby already knows where Matty's heart truly lies. Jenna just needs some confidence.
In the promo for the episode, Jenna's mother reveals that Matty came looking for her over the spring break and that she sent him away and she told him to leave her alone. Jenna is surprised by that. Jenna is also figuring out the best way to tell Matty how she feels.

In the previous episode, it began with Tamara who was determined to get back together with Adam. And when Jenna told her that there might be someone else for her, she lashed out at Jenna and said that Jenna was bad at relationships.
Jenna worried about the idea that she was bad at relationships. She also wondered if it was indeed true that Matty was still in love with her. Jenna then had a dream that involved all her friends as they gathered around her in a "Sex and the City" style talk.
Jenna asked her friends if she was bad at relationships and her friends told her that she should talk to her exes. Luke told her that she never went all in when they were together, while Owen told her that he only slept with her out of pity. Collin told her that she dated him because it made her feel smart, while Matty told her that she only dated him because he was the opposite of Collin.
Tamara told Adam the truth about everything and she apologized to him. Adam thanked Tamara for the apology, but he said that he could not continue this anymore.
All of Jenna's exes told her that all of her past relationships have been about Matty. Jenna woke up and realized that she still loved Matty after all.
