Lowe will join 11 other celebrity contestants, including reality TV star Lisa Vanderpump, who will take to the dance floor on on Monday, March 18 on the ABC network.

"He's a great guy and it's a great story. He's the name on everyone's lips. And then the next day we announce he's going to be on our show. It's really good fun all around," DWTS" executive producer Conrad Green said.

"He's been training and he gets on well with his partner," Green went on adding "He's a charming guy."

Giudici, who sat alongside Lowe during his "GMA" announcement, is said to be thrilled and 100 percent supportive about his new gig. The Christian model noted that the dancing lessons could come in handy on their big day.

"When we have our big day, hopefully I'll make her proud," Lowe said. "I won't make a fool of myself on my dance floor."

Viewers will be able to watch the couple's wedding on ABC, and Lowe recently opened up about his decision to televise such an intimate event.

"My relationship developed on TV, so it almost would make sense to marry on TV," Lowe told Life & Style magazine.

A relative of Giudici revealed that the bride-to-be will walk down the aisle this summer and she is naturally anxious about her big day.

"She can't wait until the show ends so she can finally start planning the wedding," Giudici's relative said. "She doesn't want to wait."
