'Bachelor' Wedding: Sean Lowe, Catherine Giudici to Wed on Sunday; Couple Waiting for Baby
"The Bachelor" star Sean Lowe and Catherine Giudici will become Mr. and Mrs. in a televised wedding on Sunday and the couple revealed that they plan to wait at least two years before they start a family.
The season 17 couple recently finalized wedding plans and they are said to be excited about their big day which will take place in Santa Barbara, Calif. The couple is already being bombarded with baby questions despite having not yet walked down the aisle and Lowe, 30, revealed that he and Giudici, 27, plan to enjoy each other before having children.
"We'll probably give it 2 years before we have kids. We'd like to travel and enjoy each other before we bring kids into the family," Lowe told HollywoodLife.com.
The Christian couple got engaged in Thailand while filming the season 17 "Bachelor" finale in 2013 after the entrepreneur presented the former Amazon employee with a 3.15-carat platinum-and-diamond ring. They plan to do a lot more travel after their upcoming wedding before they have children and Lowe revealed that they are hoping for at least three.
"Catherine and I are both adventurous and want to travel, so we'll probably wait several years," Lowe said.
"We talk about it quite a bit. I think she likes the number three, she has two other siblings, so that's fine by me," he told HollywoodLife.com. "As far as what they look like, I don't know. I always tease her and say our son is going to look like Manny Pacquiao because that's the only famous Filipino I know. We'll see, I hope they are beautiful children," he said.
The Christian entrepreneur and Giudici are set to become the fourth "Bachelor" franchise couple to wed on TV. They will follow in the footsteps of "Bachelorette" star Trista Rehn and husband Ryan Sutter, who starred in "Trista & Ryan's Wedding" among others.
Lowe's father will officiate the ceremony and both his and Giudici's respective families are expected to attend.
The ABC network is reportedly paying the couple a six-figure sum to exchange "I dos" on TV, according to E! News. In addition to this, the network will also foot the bill for what is expected to be a million-dollar wedding.
