'Bachelorette' Men Tell All, Kalon Admits 'Growing Experience'
Before Emily Maynard reveals her designated true love on next week's "The Bachelorette," she must first come face to face with Kalon, the man who called her daughter baggage.
"I want to go out there and rip his limbs off and beat him with them," an angered Maynard declared during the fifth episode of the season, after discovering what Kalon had said. "I will never as long as I live let anyone speak ill of Ricki or any other kids I may have or husband I may have. I want to go West Virginia, hood rat, backwoods on his a--. That's how much I love my daughter."
With such vehemence early on, many expected an uncomfortable scene between the two during the Bachelor tell-all, but Kalon was filled with nothing but apologies.
"Emily I've never seen you this happy, you look extremely happy so I'm happy for you," Kalon said in a preview of the confrontation. "Obviously, I would like to apologize for the way things transpired."
But it wasn't all for naught, as Kalon insisted that the experience has made him a better man.
"I am trying to use it as a growing experience in my future relationships," Kalon tells Maynard adding that he wishes her "nothing but the best."
Maynard, full of grace, didn't fume this time as Kalon spoke, allowing him to have his full two minutes. However, afterwards, as politely as it could possibly be said, she rebuked his apology.
"And you, my dear, should be a politician because that's the biggest load of s--- I've ever heard," Maynard said in a subdued voice, causing the crowd to cheer.
The show finale will air on July 22. With only two shows remaining, Maynard will have to decide whether she is in love with Arie Luyendyk, Jr., 30, or entrepreneur Jef Holm, 27.
