Bachelorette Trista: Vows To Be Renewed on TV
Trista Sutter, the first star of ABC's "The Bachelorette," announced that she and her husband Ryan are renewing their vows next month on television.
It comes as no surprise that the 41-year-old star is renewing her marital vows on ABC since she met and married her husband in the same way.
After becoming the runner-up on season one of ABC's "The Bachelor," Sutter became the first star of its companion show, "The Bachelorette," where she met Ryan Sutter. The couple were married on Dec. 6, 2003, and today, they share two children and are celebrating their 13th wedding anniversary.

While on "Good Morning America" on Monday, "The Original Bachelorette" announced that she and her husband are inviting fans to watch once more while they renew their vows on Jan. 19th.
"It's a prime time special," said Sutter before noting that the special event marks "Jaun-uary," a month-long celebration for next season's "Bachelor" star, Juan Pablo Galavis.
Furthermore, Sutter discussed the success behind her marriage amongst several other "Bachelor" and "Bachelorette" stars who have had a harder time finding love on the shows.
"I think if you compare the Bachelor and the Bachelorette to real world, it's probably not that different in that's how many relationships do you go through before you find the one that you want to spend the rest of your life with," she said.
"But we just had all the components- trust, honesty, respect, love, commitment, friendship, humor," the star added. "You know, all of those things just wrapped into one."
Sutter and her firefighter husband live in Vail, Colorado with their six-year-old son Max and four-year-old daughter Blakesley, and the star is preparing to release her new book, "Happily Ever After: The Life-Changing Power of a Grateful Heart."
While the book is not an autobiography, Sutter said it is a collection of stories taken from her life and from other people's lives, including her friend Jenny MCarthy. "Happily Ever After" also shares tips about how to be more grateful and live a happier life.
"One of my favorite tips if I'm creating an appreciation jar," Sutter explained. "You can do it for a friend, for a teacher… You write down why you appreciate them on separate pieces of paper throughout the year and put it in the jar, then you give it to them at the end of the year."
Meanwhile, the latest "Bachelor" star Sean Lowe is preparing to marry Catherine Guidici in a televised wedding ceremony on Jan. 26.
"The Bachelor" Juan Pablo Galavis will make his debut on ABC on Jan. 6.
