Bald and Free Day Celebrated Today

Tuesday has arrived with Bald and Free Day and people everywhere are celebrating their bare heads.

Whether you are bald for medical reasons or from simply getting older, Bald and Free Day encourages people to accept the condition. The holiday even celebrates the freedom from shampoo and other products that comes along with baldness.

The Christian Post was unable to identify the exact date for Bald and Free Day. Some sources indicate that Bald and Free Day takes place each year on Oct. 14, while others claim both Oct. 7 and Oct. 9. Also, the creator of the unusual but uplifting holiday remains unknown, but even still, cancer survivors and cure supporters are showing off their lack of hair on Bald and Free Day on Tuesday.
