Baltimore Ravens Wide Receiver Mike Wallace Expects to Play Against the Vikings This Sunday

Baltimore Ravens wide receiver Mike Wallace is currently listed as questionable for this Sunday's game against the Minnesota Vikings. But if he had his way, the ninth-year pro probably won't miss the chance to face his former team.

Wallace missed two practice sessions this week after took a helmet to the back in last Sunday's match against the Chicago Bears, but he has told reporters that he expects to play this Sunday even though his back is still a little sore.

"Any week you have an opportunity to play, you want to get out there if you can. I always feel pressure to play every single week. There's no week that I go into the week saying, 'I can take this week off.' Nah. I feel pressure every week. It's no different than any other week. It's a season. You always get banged up during the season. It's not the first time, it won't be the last. You just manage it throughout the week. Hopefully it feels better," Wallace said on Thursday, via the Ravens' official website.

Wallace had the worst statistical season of his career during his one season stint with the Vikings and the team released him in 2016.

A week after he was cut, Wallace signed a two-year, $11.5-million deal with the Ravens and he has redeemed himself nicely last season. The one-time Pro Bowler hasn't played against the Vikings since he was released.

Wallace has 15 catches for 239 yards and one touchdown in six games this season.

Meanwhile, Sam Bradford has been officially ruled out of Sunday's game. Bradford has been experiencing pain and swelling in his twice surgically-repaired left knee since their season-opening victory over the New Orleans Saints, but Vikings head coach Mike Zimmer thinks the veteran quarterback can still return to the field at some point this season.
