Barcelona vs Athletic Bilbao live stream: Watch Spanish Super Cup soccer online
Bilbao leads after the first leg 4-0.
Barcelona will try to complete a remarkable comeback as it hosts Athletic Bilbao at Camp Nou in the second leg of the Spanish Super Cup.
The match is on August 17, 2015 at 4:00 p.m. ET.
In an incredible turn of events, the Catalans find themselves in a hole maybe too deep for even them to climb out of as they allowed Bilbao to score four goals in the first leg of the competition.
More surprisingly was that Lionel Messi and his teammates were unable to score at least one goal that could have helped make things easier in the return leg at Barcelona.
Now down 4-0 on aggregate, the best team in Spain should try and score at least five goals without allowing their opponents to score at least once, in order to lift the Spanish Super Cup.
It sounds like an impossible task, but if there is one team that can do it, it is likely to be Barcelona.
In the first leg, things unfolded early when San Jose opened up the scoring in the 13th minute.
Things were pretty silent until the 53rd minute of the match when Adruiz doubled the lead with an assist by Sabin.
This came within a minute of when FC Barcelona manager Luis Enrique put Andres Iniesta in the match, which was more surprising.
Already down 2-0, Ivan Rakitic was sent in to help Barcelona, but Adruiz scored his second of the game only two minutes later.
And to top things off, Adruiz scored from the penalty spot in the 68th minute to complete the route of Barcelona.
The absence of Neymar due to mumps hurts the team's scoring chances, but Barcelona had more trouble than simply scoring.
The team's defence was not up to par and it was beaten by a more aggressive Bilbao team.
If the team hopes to stand a chance for a comeback, it should fix its defence and assure that Messi and Luis Suarez are up to the task of scoring multiple goals for the team.
