'Basketball Wives LA' News: Are Two 'Wives' On Their Way Out?
The reality television series on VH1 is on its fourth season and is said to be doing well ratings-wise. According to various reports, the show is full of drama and conflict between its stars and their personalities, but this does not stop rumors about who among the ladies may soon be axed because they are causing too much trouble for the show and the rest of the cast.
According to a report in Enstars, two ladies in the cast are rumored to have been let go because of different reasons, but is generally about how they dealt with other cast members in the season's past episodes.
The first wife that the report mentioned is Brandi Maxiell. In the latest episode of the show, co-star Draya Michele said that Maxiell's "cancer" story line was "too boring" for the show. The report, however, said that this is not the reason why she is being considered. Maxiell reportedly has been at odds with the show's creator Shaunie O'Neal and even called O'Neal the "B" word, which has gotten her in hot water in terms of her future in the show.
The other girl mentioned in the report is Mehgan James, a newcomer in the show, who was brought in by show veteran Jackie Christie. James is rumored to have been fired and is not returning for the next season because of her Twitter word war with another co-star, Tami Roman. Roman is incidentally O'Neal's best friend brought in from Miami. Apparently, Roman said in one of her tweets that she did not want to be "going at it with someone who won't B there" in the next season.
The season's episode 9 is airing this coming Sunday. Tensions are still high among the ladies especially between Jackie Christie and Meghan James. In episode 7, Christie actually spat on James while they were fighting about Christie not standing up for her friend, James, when the latter was having a separate fight with Brandi Maxiell.
