'Basketball Wives' Season 6 Premieres April 17, Features Drama Between Tami and Evelyn
Evelyn Lozada, Tami Roman and the rest of the gang are finally returning to the small screen as VH1 recently confirmed that "Basketball Wives" season 6 will premiere on April 17.
On Monday, March 27, Lozada shared an Instagram photo of herself revealing that she will be back for the new season of "Basketball Wives." That same night, a short teaser for the upcoming season aired during the commercial break of the episode of "Love & Hip Hop: Atlanta."
The clip shows Roman and Lozada coming up to a referee who is throwing a basketball in the air. The two women jump to get the ball, but the clip ends without revealing which of them actually got their hands on the ball.

It can be recalled that in season 2, which aired from 2010 to 2011, Roman and Lozada had gone through some rough patches in their friendship. Fortunately, they were able to patch things up and be friends again. However, things took a bad turn when Lozada's past relationships were revealed and Roman found out that her friend was actually intimate with her ex-husband, Kenny Anderson. The revelation seemed to have ended their friendship for good.
In a previous interview, Roman hinted that fans will get to see some drama between her and Lozada in the upcoming season of "Basketball Wives." According to her, she tried to be civil with the other woman while filming the series, but Lozada had said some things that eventually provoked her.
The upcoming season will find Lozada bonding big time with her longtime friend, Shaunie O'Neal. After some time, she will learn who her real buddies are and who are not. Season 6 will also feature new faces aside from the familiar ones, like Jackie Christie, Malaysia Pargo and Brandi Maxiell.
"Basketball Wives" season 6 premieres on Monday, April 17 at 9 p.m. EDT on VH1.
