Basketball Wives' Tami Roman Deletes Twitter Account; Leaving the Show?

"Basketball Wives" villain Tami Roman has deleted her Twitter account after receiving constant abuse from the public for her antics during the last episode, and the reality TV personality recently hinted that she is ready to leave the show.

"I deactivated my twitter for the time being because I have been blessed with a wonderful opportunity to work with phenomenal actors on a new television show. I didn't want to wake up to the continual negativity from a mistake made over four months ago, which I have openly acknowledged and apologized for to overshadow the blessing of this moment. I plan to reactivate my twitter when a formal announcement has been made about this new opportunity with the hopes of putting BasketBall Wives behind me," Roman wrote via her Facebook account.

On Monday night's episode 13 of the Vh1 reality TV show viewers were confronted with scenes which showed the 41-year-old verbally abusing her fellow cast mate Kesha Nichols, and the public's response was so brutal that the mother of two was forced to issue a public apology earlier this week.

"I just landed in NYC, but I did catch 2nites episode on the plane. As I said earlier, this was BAD, wrong & immature-I apologize…I'm not proud of my behavior, but I own up to it and face it," Roman wrote via Twitter.

"I do apologize [sic] 2my family, my friends, my kids & 2 my cast members…The supporters who have been there, I'm sorry I let U down-this was not handled properly & I felt bad THEN and now," she added.

Footage from a group trip to Tahiti showed Roman, a mother of two, aggressively confronting Nichols, who was trembling in fear for majority of the episode.

Roman swore at Nichols repeatedly and hurled abused at the professional dancer over suspicions that she had been gossiping about her to their fellow cast members.

Viewers were so outraged that many took to social networking sites Twitter and Facebook to hurl similar abuse at Roman and her two teenage daughters Lyric and Jazz, which led Roman to ask that they stop.

"I simply ask that U b respectful 2my kids-they R NOT on BBW & do not control my actions on the show. Don't become what U criticize….I would have blogged this but I wanted 2 address it as soon as I landed. Accept it or not, I acknowledge & apologize to ALL involved," she wrote.

While Nichols insists that she has moved on since the confrontation, viewers including Nicki Minaj and Star Jones continue to criticize Roman's behavior on Twitter.

"So disturbed by this episode. #Sad," Minaj tweeted.

"I've never condoned or participated in cussing, screaming, hitting ANYONE...as that is ignorant & potentially illegal. #ENOUGHisENOUGH," Jones tweeted.
