Batman Arkham Knight Release Date News: Game Delayed to Hit Shelves Until 2015
Batman: Arkham Knight would be Rocksteady Studios and Warner Bros.' fourth main game title in the Batman: Arkham series. What makes this upcoming action-adventure game special in the franchise is that it will be the first installment where players can get their hands in the Batmobile.
In a presentation at the WonderCon, the game studio revealed an intense trailer showing the Dark Knight roaming around his great city with the aid of his hi-tech mobile. Following that event, DC announced in the All Access Panel the release date of the game which, as what have been reported by KpopStarz, is pushed to 2015. The reason for the postponement was not disclosed.
Slated to arrive for the next gen gaming consoles, namely PS4, Xbox One as well as in PC, Rocksteady, however, is unsure if they will release it in Xbox One versions in Japan.

The report from KpopStarz pointed out the game console's poor selling performance in the Japan market. Meanwhile, they cited Air Herald saying that Batman: Arkham Knight is still good to go in Xbox 360 throughout the other countries.
If this rumbling be taken as truth, then the oriental country won't be able to experience the more "challenging" game yet in the series. As revealed, Rocksteady and DC purposely created a new villain for the Caped Crusader to take on.
In an interview with Game Rant, Rocksteady Studios official Sefton Hill said that they "wanted to introduce someone who could really challenge Batman to go head to head with him in lots of different ways."
"We're not talking about those ways just yet but this guy is definitely a formidable foe for Batman," the executive added.
This "formidable foe," already reported of being called the "Arkham Knight," would work with Batman's arch enemies, the Penguin, Harley Quinn and Two-Face.
