'Batman: Arkham Origins' Trailer Debuts at E3, Hero Battles Bane and Deadshot

A brand new trailer for the upcoming "Batman: Arkham Origins" game debuted at this year's E3 gaming conference in Los Angeles this week.

The trailer reveals information on the game's villains and storyline. "Arkam Origins" functions as a prequel to the previous two Batman games "Arkham City" and "Arkham Asylum." It chronicles the hero's first encounter with some of his most infamous villains, including Bane and the Joker.

The new trailer shows off some of these villains in action plotting the hero's demise. A contract is put out for Batman by the lesser known Black Mask. Judging from what is shown in the trailer; Bane is hired to take the Dark Knight out in the film as a contract is handed to him with information on Batman.

The Joker also makes an appearance in the trailer as Batman is shown confronting him while he detonates some kind of bomb. The Bat Wing makes its first appearance in the Arkham series, satisfying fans that were anxiously waiting on more of the popular vehicles to appear in the games. Batman travels around on the plane as he must have a fast means of transportation to get around the larger Gotham City.

The previous two games took place with the Arkham prison and a newly built Arkham City, which functioned as a larger version of the first prison. Vehicles were not required for travel, as Batman could get around easily with his grappling hook.

Another villain known as Death Stroke also makes an appearance during the trailer as he is shown fighting Batman in some kind of underground UFC league ring. He could work for Black Mask in the game.

"Batman: Arkham Origins" will be released on Oct. 25.
