'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' Movie News: Blue Ray Copy of the Movie to Feature 181 Extra Minutes of Scenes
Will "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" critics finally be less unforgiving of the said movie once its Blue-Ray copy is finally out? According to Heroic Hollywood, once the Rated-R copy of the movie is out, it will feature deleted scenes that will add 181 minutes to the entirety of the movie.
In a recent interview with David Brenner, one of the editors of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," disclosed that the original version of the movie had a four-hour running time. Heroic Hollywood believes that Brenner's statement may be true as it cites the description of Swedish retailer CDON.com on the upcoming Blu-Ray of the movie, saying that it will be 181 minutes long. The retailer's website also mentions that the movie will have an additional 120 minutes, which is believed to be behind the scenes features.
It can be recalled that one of the criticisms thrown against "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is that it had a scattered storyline. For instance, according to Huffington Post, there were several instances in the movie wherein some scenes were cut abruptly to give way to another plot in a different scene, leaving earlier scenes hanging.

The harsh criticisms on the film, apparently, took a toll on its box-office performance. Despite opening strong on its first weekend, the movie experienced a steep drop on its ticket sales on its second-week run.
Nonetheless, while it is true that the movie is unlikely to meet its target of one billion dollars for its gross income, it has already broken several box office records of other films under the superhero genre, including Marvel's first two "Iron Man" movies. As of this writing, the movie has already raked in more than $855 million as its worldwide gross.
With the upcoming release of "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" extended version, will the viewers and critics alike finally agree that it is a good movie after all and wish that the movie had not deleted the scenes that could have made the story more coherent?
