'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' News: New Official Wonder Woman Logo and Action Figures Unveiled

There's no doubt "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is the most-anticipated and highly regarded movies that will hit the big screens next year, and with the release of Wonder Woman's official logo, plus new action figures, the fanbase has only expanded even more.

The new image features Gal Gadot's Wonder Woman in what looks like a black, cotton cape. She holds the hood of the dark cape with her right hand and in her eyes embedded the clear indication of a goddess that stepped down on Earth to probably intervene between Batman and Superman.

In the Comic-Con trailer released by Warner Bros., Gadot's character slams her wrists together, resulting to a gigantic explosion. Previous reports also revealed that Wonder Woman will be taking on the challenge of facing Doomsday, who killed Superman in the comic books.

Although Gadot's new official Wonder Woman photo seems to portray the softer and milder side of the goddess on Earth, the dark cape may suggest that once she lays her cape down, villains should prepare for the massive destruction that her powers can bring.

Comic Book Resources says long before WB released Wonder Woman's stunning still, a T-shirt design was already released by Graphitti Designs during the New York Comic-Con, featuring Wonder Woman's official logo.

The upcoming megasuperhero battle movie will open doors for Wonder Woman's first big screen stint. It was also revealed on Saturday that "Wonder Woman," the first solo movie starring goddess Diana's daughter, has just started filming.

Meanwhile, Comic Book Movie reports that new action figures from Miracle Action Figure EX (MAFEX) have just been released, featuring Batman and Superman.

The new figures come in various poses for the picky fans who want more than one figure of the iconic heroes who will face off in the movie. While Superman's figures come in different poses and facial expressions, the masked Dark Knight's figures sport a number of his highly technological weapons.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is scheduled for release on March 25, 2016.
