'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' News: Warner Bros. Tour Guide Confirms Dead Robin in the Movie is Jason Todd

After long guessing games and what was thought by some as a mere fan speculation, it has finally been confirmed that Batman's dead Robin in the recently shown "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is actually Jason Todd, the Caped Crusader's second Robin, as per Bat-man News.

Many DC comic book fans and entertainment websites suggested the idea based on some scenes from the said DC blockbuster. One of which is the vandalized suit of Robin put on display in the batcave where the spray-painted words on the suit read "Ha ha. The joke's on you Batman."

Avid Batman and DC comic book fans are pretty aware that Jason Todd became the Caped Crusader's second Robin after the original Robin, Dick Grayson, proceeded to assume the identity of another superhero, Nightwing.

In the "Under the Red Hood" comic book storyline of Batman, Joker killed Jason Todd. However, he was eventually resurrected and became the anti-hero Red Hood.

There are also fans who still believe that Jared Letto's Joker in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" movie may actually be Jason Todd himself, according to Comicbook Movie. Some think that Ben Affleck's line as Bruce Wayne in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," saying that nobody stays good for a long time could be in reference to his former sidekick who has sided with the bad as he became The Joker.

However, basing on the pronouncements of a WB Studio Tour Hollywood guide named John, which was posted on the Facebook page of Warner Bros. Studio Hollywood, it seems that DC Extended Universe will remain faithful to the comic book events in Jason Todd's life. If Warner Bros. and DC decide to give the character a twist by making him as The Joker, fans can only wait and see.

Nonetheless, this piece of confirmation about the identity of Robin in "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" has left the fans wondering on and excited about how the character will influence the future of Batman in the DC Extended Universe, especially that Affleck has a participation in the upcoming "Suicide Squad" and has a solo Batman movie in the pipeline.

As of this writing, though, the Facebook video where the tour guide made the reveal has already been taken down.
